Since 1956, we’ve helped Mildura families care for the people who once cared for them.

We’re the region’s longest-standing aged care provider, and still community-owned. Our residents, families, staff and volunteers shape the place together.

Questions families ask us

Choosing care for a parent is a big decision. Here are the questions we hear most, and we’re always happy to talk them through.

Still have questions? (03) 5022 1022

How do we get started?

Most people begin with a free assessment through My Aged Care on 1800 200 422. Once you know what support has been approved, call us and we’ll walk you through the next steps.

What will it cost?

It depends on the type of care and your parent’s circumstances. Some fees are set by the government and others are means-tested. We’ll explain every part in plain English before you decide.

Can we visit before deciding?

Of course. We encourage families to visit, meet the team and see the rooms, gardens and village for themselves. Call us or book online to arrange a time.

What if Mum or Dad’s needs change?

Our village, at-home and residential services work together, so people already in our community have priority access to other levels of care when they need it.

Do you offer dementia care?

Yes. In 1993 we became the first facility in the region to offer specialised dementia care, and our GreenConnect project supports people living with dementia and their carers.

Is short-term respite available?

Yes. Our aged care home offers both long-term and short-term stays, so carers can take a break knowing their loved one is well looked after.
